Seafari Adventures' Five Star VisitScotland Wildlife Experience
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Seafari Adventures on being accredited as a VisitScotland five star wildlife experience; understands that the marine tour operator, which is based in Easdale, 16 miles south of Oban, provides people with the opportunity to see an impressive variety of wildlife including porpoises, whales, dolphins, seals, eagles and otters by travelling to the islands of Iona and Staffa as well as the world’s third largest whirlpool at the Gulf of Corryvreckan, using a fleet of powerful rigid inflatable boats, which are purpose-designed and built to ensure maximum viewing opportunities; considers that Seafari Adventures is an important component of Argyll’s tourism industry, and wishes the tour operators continued success in the future.
