1989 Old Pulteney Single Malt, the World’s Best 2016
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Old Pulteney Distillery in Wick on winning the accolade of World’s Best Single Malt for its Old Pulteney 1989 Vintage at the Whisky Magazine World Whisky Awards 2016 in London; understands that there was a record number of entries this year for this prize, and considers that the release of the peated "Maritime Malt" in 2015 underlined the success of the distillery whose team applies passion and skill to create a string of outstanding malt whiskies.
