Congratulations to Scottish Education Awards Finalists from Hawick
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Graeme Reid, who is the janitor and playground supervisor at Trinity Primary School in Hawick, and Matthew Frankland and Ronald Yule, who are pupils at Hawick High School, on being selected as finalists at the 2016 Scottish Education Awards; commends Graeme, who has been shortlisted for the Educational Supporter of the Year award; notes that he has been praised for regularly going above and beyond the call of duty; congratulates Matthew and Ronald on their work in promoting the school across the wider community; believes that being named finalists is in itself a great achievement and a credit to their respective schools, and wishes them all the best at the awards ceremony in Glasgow in June.
