Scotland's National Drone Racing Team

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the first Scottish First Person View (FPV) drone championships, which took place at Barry Buddon in August 2016, and the establishment of a Scottish FPV national team; supports the team's fundraising initiative to enable it to compete in the drone racing event, the Euro Cup; wishes its members every success in both that competition and the 2016 World Drone Racing Championships, which will be held in Hawaii, and recognises what it sees as the potential of drone racing to develop technology in a safe and exciting way.
