Congratulations to NFUS St Boswells Office on its Membership Flame Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates NFU Scotland’s St Boswells office on being awarded the Membership Flame for outstanding efforts in recruitment and retention of members; notes that the Borders West team of Richard Forsyth, Rory Murray, Laura Bell and Joyce Grigor look after nearly 500 members and six different branches as the largest in the union, yet still managed to increase its membership and hit its subscription income target for 2016; praises the team at the St Boswells office for the support that it provides to farmers in the Borders; notes that, since 2011, the Membership Flame has been awarded to the team that makes the most significant progress in attracting new members, and wishes everyone at the St Boswells office a successful 2017.
