Aberdeen Grammar School Concert Band Wins Third Platinum Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen Grammar School Concert Band on winning the platinum award in the advanced schools category at the Scottish Concert Band Festival finals in Perth; notes that this is the third time that the school has taken home the platinum award; recognises the efforts of the musical director, Alan MacDonald, who has worked with the pupils since 2005; commends the band members for continuing to maintain such a high standard year after year, and wishes the band all the very best for future competitions.
