North East Couple to Build Homes for Kenyan Families
The motion
That the Parliament commends Sarah Sinclair and Darren Cocker, who are from the north east, on their plan to travel to Kenya to build homes for families in need; understands that the couple will spend a fortnight in Katarina in October 2017 as volunteers with the Aberdeen-based charity, the Gathimba Edwards Foundation; notes that a charity event will be held on 2 September at the Montrose British Legion to raise funds to cover the cost of the trip, and wishes Sarah and Darren all the best with both their fundraising and the project.
