Harry Priestley to Run Hadrian's Wall
The motion
That the Parliament commends wholeheartedly the efforts of Harry Priestley, a north east commercial manager, who is to run the length of Hadrian's Wall in the space of 24 hours; understands that Harry will run the 69 mile race along the wall on 17 June 2017 in order to raise awareness and funds for the MND Association, which is a national charity that focuses on care, campaigning and medical research into motor neurone disease, for which there is currently no cure; notes that the money raised on Harry's JustGiving page will go towards funding support for people who have the condition, their families and support networks, as well as essential research into finding a cure, and wishes Harry and all participants in the race the very best of luck as they face this challenge.
