Motion · S5M-05818 · 25 May 2017
DAWGS Charity Event, 28 May 2017
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that the north east-based dog re-homing charity, DAWGS, is to hold its biggest event of the year, a Day in the Country, at Haddo Country Park on 28 May 2017; understands that the free-entry day will include a barbeque, exhibitions and a dog show; notes that DAWGS aims to find safe, loving new homes for dogs whose owners are no longer able to take care of them and that, over the last 20 years, it have successfully rehomed over 2,000 pets from across the north east, and wishes the charity the very best both for the event and in finding as many forever homes as possible for the dogs that it cares for.
