Scotland's Rural College Awarded Queen's Anniversary Prize
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the Royal honour bestowed on the SRUC, which is based at the Crichton Royal Farm, Dumfries; notes that the Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education has been received by the college; considers that this highlights the excellent and innovative research at the college over the last 15 years into the Langhill dairy herd; notes the importance of this research to the vital dairy industry in Dumfries and Galloway, and congratulates all the staff at the rural college on winning this award.
