Motion · S5M-10168 · 29 Jan 2018
Jane Haining Heritage Centre Opens in Dunscore
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the opening of a heritage centre dedicated to Jane Haining; notes that the centre, in her home village of Dunscore, recognises the enormous sacrifices that Jane made during the Holocaust; acknowledges that it was opened on Holocaust Memorial Day, and hopes that this fitting tribute to Jane will ensure that new generations learn all about her missionary work.
