The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Home Start Clackmannanshire on being awarded £1,350 by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust; notes that this will help pay toward equipping a charity shop at which a development worker will oversee group programmes; acknowledges that it will sell everyday donated items at affordable cost; understands that will help to reduce landfill, provide an affordable source of everyday items for its users, and act as a source of training for its volunteer staff; notes that a training programme in retail will be offered to the volunteers, offering many their first formal qualification and improving their prospects in the wider job market; acknowledges that equipment is still required to furnish the shop to a standard, and wishes everyone involved with this all the very best in their endeavours.
