Fife Businesses Shortlisted for National Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Fife businesses, Render Studio Ltd and Tree of Knowledge, on being announced on the list of finalists for the Federation of Small Businesses Scotland Celebrating Small Business Awards 2019; understands that the awards will be held on 21 February 2019 at the Playfair Library in Edinburgh; recognises that the ceremony will see over 200 businesses gather to celebrate small businesses, self-employed workers and the huge contribution that they make to the Scottish economy and communities; notes that Render Studio Ltd in Burntisland, which is shortlisted in the Digital Innovation Award category, is a digital business that works in collaboration with developers, creative agencies and architects, among other types of organisations and individuals, in order to produce images and virtual and augmented reality output; further notes that Tree of Knowledge in Dunfermline, which is shortlisted in the Employer of the Year category, has revolutionised motivational speaking and has helped over a million young learners, students, teachers and employees to improve their attainment and productivity and to get the most out of their lives, and wishes all the businesses shortlisted the best of luck at the awards.
