Clackmannanshire Women's Aid
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Clackmannanshire Women's Aid on receiving £65,922 from the National Lottery Community Fund; acknowledges that the Alloa-based group will provide a new independent advocacy service for women in Clackmannanshire who have experienced domestic abuse; considers that the project will give a voice to such people and provide them with the necessary support to begin a new life away from their abuser, and commends the group on its sterling work for the benefit of others.
