Nine Scots Selected for Team GB and Northern Ireland at Glasgow 2019
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the nine Scottish athletes, Laura Muir, Eilidh Doyle, Zoey Clark, Eilish McColgan, Jemma Reekie, Guy Learmonth, Neil Gourley, Chris O’Hare and Andy Butchart, who have been selected to compete for Team GB and Northern Ireland at the 2019 European Indoor Championships, which take place in Glasgow from 1 to 3 March; notes that this represents the biggest representation for Scottish athletes on a British team in more than 50 years at the championships, and wishes them all the best of luck in their respective events.
