St Ronan's Silver Band
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Callum Robb, Callum Anderson, Ally Norman, Thomas Brydon and Andrew Wilson of St Ronan’s Silver Band on taking first place in the final of the Scottish Brass Band Association’s Open Ensemble category; understands that the young group gave a superb performance of the second and third movements of Victor Ewald’s Brass Quintet No.1; acknowledges that this is the third consecutive year that the quintet has won in their age group; notes the hard work that the boys and their conductor, David Robb, put into their performance, and wishes them all the best.
