Friends of Anchor Donates £19,000 to NHS Grampian
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges that Friends of Anchor has donated £19,000 to NHS Grampian to purchase a software licence that will allow doctors to carry out advanced 3D scanning; understands that the 3D scanning will enable doctors to carry out tomosynthesis-guided biopsies, which is a new type of mammography that helps detect cancers sooner; recognises that this generous donation from Friends of Anchor has already started to benefit patients across the region, and wishes the charity every success for the future.
