Kinross High School's Build-a-Plane Project
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the more than 50 pupils of Kinross High School who successfully constructed a Eurofox two-seater aircraft as part of the school's Build-a-Plane project, which is designed to encourage interest in STEM subjects; understands that Aaron McKay was the first of the pupils to fly as a passenger in the aircraft, which was assembled in a temporary workshop on the campus and was overseen by Aero Space Kinross, and wishes the project, which it hopes will give many pupils in the area their first taste of flying in a small aircraft, continued success.
