Cringletie House Hotel Work Experience
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges that 12 pupils from Peebles High School have spent five days over as many weeks working in the Cringletie House Hotel as part of a project organised by Developing Young Workforce Borders; understands that the pupils have been trained in a multitude of hospitality areas, including fine dining, restaurant etiquette, reception skills and housekeeping; notes that this scheme has encouraged the pupils to pursue careers in hospitality and that several have already secured further work experience places for the spring; thanks the Cringletie House Hotel for taking on the pupils, and wishes them the best in their future endeavours.
