Cupar Youth Café Shortlisted for National Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates everyone involved with the Cupar Youth Project on it being selected as a finalist for the SQA Skills for Life award in recognition of its work with young people to help boost their employment and training prospects; applauds the project's success rate with, it understands, 90% of those involved with its 16+ Activity Agreement Programme moving on to a positive life destination; believes that its open-minded approach with 16- to 18-year-olds empowers them to make the best life choices for themselves at work, college or in life generally; pays tribute to its work with the Fife Community Learning and Development Partnership, and commends the good work of all of the café's staff and volunteers.
