Windswept Brewing Wins BeerX Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Lossiemouth firm, Windswept Brewing, on winning the "gold keg" in the regional competition of the Society of Independent Brewers’ BeerX awards, and on taking silver and bronze at the national level of the SIBA BeerX awards; notes that its winning beer was the 6% ABV Scotch WOLF Ale; understands that the Society of Independent Brewers was established in 1980 to represent the small and craft brewery industry, and has 830 members across the UK; affirms what it sees as the importance of food and drink to the rural economy of Moray, and the wider Highlands and Islands, and congratulates all at Windswept Brewing on this well-deserved success.
