Zoey Grahame, Success at Hairdressers and Therapists Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Zoey Grahame, who is a student at Borders College, on her success at the Association of Hairdressers and Therapists finals in Blackpool at which she won the Commercial Cut and Blow Dry Award and also the Sue Bleasdale Bloomin Marvellous Memorial Trophy for achieving the highest overall points across all hair and barbering categories, with an impressive 148 points out of 150; commends Zoey, who qualified for the finals at the regional heats in Edinburgh, on earning an offer of sponsorship from the Hair and Beauty Industry Authority and being offered automatic entry to the 2020 competition to compete in the professional category, and wishes her all the best with her endeavours.
