Innovation Award for Dundee Firm's Lead Role in Diabetes Care
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the founder of a Dundee-based digital medical company on securing grant funding and year-long support as part of the 2019 Women in Innovation Awards; understands that Debbie Wake, co-founder and chief medical officer of MyWay Digital Health, is one of nine female innovators to be awarded £50,000 as part of the Innovate UK competition; acknowledges that the winners will each receive a year-long package of bespoke support and mentoring to further their business; understands that MyWay Digital Health provides diabetes patients with an app that enables them to monitor key health indicators and receive advice for treatments "on the go", and wishes Debbie continued success with her business.
