Clackmannan's First Public Access Defibrillator
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that the first public access defibrillator for Clackmannan is now operational; acknowledges that the life-saving equipment was installed on the walls of the Main Street pharmacy on 14 March 2019; notes that it was purchased by the Clackmannan Development Trust, which was given guidance by Saline First Responders regarding its use, following a £2,400 fundraising drive that included crowdfunding, collection tins in shops, raffles at Clackmannan Primary School and numerous other events and personal donations, and commends the development trust and all involved with these efforts.
