Inverkeithing High School Pupils Secure £3,000 for Aberdour Day Care Centre
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates four Inverkeithing High School pupils who have successfully completed a competition to secure £3,000 for Aberdour Day Care Centre; understands that S4 students, Hannah Marriott, Chloe Rowlands, Millie McKinlay and Sophie Boxall, competed with fellow pupils in their year to demonstrate the impact that £3,000 would have on their chosen charity; believes that the project is arranged by the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) Scotland, which encourages pupils to identify the needs of their local community, to spend time with the charity that they believe best addresses those issues, and to present a compelling case of why they should receive such a donation, and commends the YPI and all four students on their outstanding and magnanimous work.
