Jura Store Community Interest Company Wins FSB Scotland Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Jura Store Community Interest Company on winning the Community Business of the Year award at the Federation of Small Businesses Scotland’s Small Business Awards in Edinburgh; understands that the store serves the population of Jura and was bought in 2013 when the only private shop on the island faced closure; recognises that the shop plays a vital role in ensuring the sustainability of the local community on the island, and wishes it well in the future.
