Macphie Double Awards Night Success
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Macphie on winning two awards at separate events on 21 March 2019; understands that the company was recognised as Employer of the Year at the Scottish Rural Awards 2019 and as Best Foodservice Product at the North East Scotland Food & Drink Awards 2019; notes that the Employer of the Year award recognises Macphie’s commitment to actively seeking to attract, invest in, retain and reward the very best talent; further notes that the Best Foodservice Product award recognises Macphie’s development of the first vegan-certified cake mix range for use by industry professionals both in the UK and internationally; understands that the company is one of the UK’s leading independent added-value food ingredients manufacturers; considers that the company winning two awards at two different award ceremonies is regarded highly in the industry, and wishes Macphie every success for the future.
