Borders College Memorial Sculpture
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that a memorial tree sculpture has been erected at Borders College in memory of its former student, Stuart Riches; understands that it was constructed by the college’s engineering department and that Stuart’s parents were invited to the unveiling, and acknowledges that copper leaves can be bought by students and staff to be attached to the tree, with the proceeds helping to fund the department’s Greenpower project.
