West Dunbartonshire Gymnastics Club
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates West Dunbartonshire Gymnastics Club on receiving £58,688 from the Young Start Fund; welcomes that the club will use the money to support measures to widen access to gymnastics, particularly for children and young people who live near to the gymnastics facility and those with additional support needs; further welcomes that the project will also develop opportunities for volunteering and coaching for young people at the club; believes that greater participation in physical activity such as gymnastics should be encouraged from an early age to promote improved physical, mental and social wellbeing, and wishes the club and its members well with its endeavours.
