Dundee University Boat Club Women's Team Sets World Record
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the members of the Dundee University Boat Club Women's Team on setting a new Guinness World Record for the longest distance rowed by 12 females on a single indoor machine in a day, by rowing more than 340,000 metres; acknowledges that, in doing this, the club also raised funds to buy equipment for the Dundee and Angus Women's Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre, and commends the group on this impressive feat.
