Cakes by Alli Baba's Success at the Aberdeen Business Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Cakes by Alli Baba, which is in Laurencekirk, on winning the Best Baked Goods Award at the Aberdeen Business Awards 2019; notes that this small business specialises in high-quality bespoke cakes and bakes for all occasions and that this is the second year in a row that it has won this award; acknowledges that it was also nominated in the Best Craft/Creative Business category; recognises what it sees as the outstanding contribution that small businesses such as this make to the Scottish economy; notes that it has now been invited to take part in the Scottish Business Awards in Glasgow, and wishes Cakes by Alli Baba all the best at these awards and in its endeavours.
