Ruth Hinks, Master Chocolatier
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges that the master chocolatier, Ruth Hinks, who owns Cocoa Black in Peebles, is due to appear on the Easter special of the Channel 4 programme, Extreme Chocolate Makers; notes that Ruth, who is the UK World Chocolate Master, will construct a 30kg chocolate spaniel for display at Chatsworth House, as well as a life-sized chocolate barrel for the Innis & Gunn brewery; acknowledges the years of hard work and skill that has led to Ruth's appearance on the programme, and wishes her all the best in her future endeavours.
