The motion

That the Parliament welcomes news that a new museum is set to open to the public in Linlithgow, West Lothian; notes that this follows the relocation of Annet House Museum to an accessible space at the Linlithgow Partnership Centre; understands that the new museum will contain three galleries that will examine the history of Linlithgow, trades within the town, and another entitled, "Life by the Loch"; recognises that the new museum will contain new and old exhibits, including a statue of Mary Queen of Scots from Annet House, as well as new interactive features, including clips of a recent oral history project played through listening posts; thanks the Linlithgow Heritage Trust Board and volunteers for more than five years of hard work in establishing the museum, as well as those who have helped fund project, and encourages local people and those from further afield to visit the museum when they can.
