Children in Scotland, 25 Calls
The motion
That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the important work of Children in Scotland and commends its contribution in campaigning on children and young people's’issues and providing support to the children’s sector in East Lothian and across Scotland; notes its 25 Calls campaign, which aims to ensure that all children can enjoy their rights and experience equality; acknowledges that this has been developed by experts and stakeholders as well as children and young people; agrees that the recommendations of the campaign show that the breadth of work required to advance children’s rights and to promote their wellbeing are important in achieving this, and considers that these recommendations should be given serious consideration by all Members, the Scottish Government and relevant organisations.
