Nuart Street Art Festival 2019
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Nuart Aberdeen on the record-breaking crowds that attended the Nuart Street Art Festival in Aberdeen; understands that street artists from across the world have turned neglected walls in the city into canvases for their artwork; notes that the festival included talks, Q&As with artists and film screenings throughout the weekend; welcomes the efforts of Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeen Inspired for ensuring that the festival continues to thrive in light of their current financial pressures; hopes that the future of the Nuart Street Art Festival can be secured beyond 2020, and celebrates the hard work of all the artists and organisers involved with Nuart for their remarkable success.
