Never Such Innocence
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the work of Never Such Innocence (NSI), a charity that enables children and young people to reflect on war and conflict through art, poems, songs and speeches; understands that this platform connects young people with their past, and gives a greater awareness and understanding of the sacrifices made as a result of war; further understands that NSI offers educational resources to encourage schools to begin their own commemorative projects; welcomes its next phase, "Giving Children and Young People a Voice in Conflict", which will provide young people from across the world the opportunity to respond to conflict throughout history; notes the success of this phase, already evident in the creative involvement of Larbert High School, which inspired workshops across various departments, and wishes NSI well in its commendable endeavours.
