Lodged by Liam Kerr (Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party) Standard Motion 20 supporters

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the makeup college, GlamCandy, on its recent success at the Aberdeen Business Awards, at which its lead artist, Amanda McCarthy, won the Best Makeup Artist category; understands that it is Scotland's biggest makeup college, with permanent locations in Edinburgh, Dunfermline and Aberdeen, and the first private makeup college to offer SQA-accredited qualifications; believes that its students benefit from its strategic partnerships with top brands such as Illamasqua, Kryolan, Caudalie and Karla Powell, and wishes it the best of luck for the Scotland-wide Official Makeup Awards, at which it has been shortlisted for the Training Provider of the Year title.
