Keltra Crafts, West Lothian
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Tracy Dunn, who is the owner of Keltra Crafts in West Lothian, on the shop’s success at the Edinburgh Finals of the 2019 Scotland Business Awards and being shortlisted for the Grand Finals, which will be held in Glasgow on 26 May; notes that this independent retailer, which began six and a half years ago as a fabric shop, has expanded into a hub for the community; acknowledges that it offers sewing, knitting and crocheting classes, with 16 workshops most weeks for up to 90 students of all ages; understands that it sells handmade products and gift ware in its shop and is also a wool stockist, and wishes Tracy and her team every success at the Grand Finals.
