Good Luck to Scotland's Women's Football Team
The motion
That the Parliament notes the announcement by the Scotland’s women’s football team coach, Shelley Kerr, of the 23 women chosen for their historic involvement in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, and congratulates them on this honour; acknowledges that Rachel Corsie has been appointed as captain and wishes the whole squad every success at the upcoming tournament; notes that the first game is against England on 9 June and that before this the team plays Jamaica in a friendly on 28 May, and supports calls from the SFA to "raise the roof" at Hampden Park and give the team a good send off to this historic event.
