UK Sepsis Trust Fundraising by the Family of Tom Rankin
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the efforts of the family of the late Tom Rankin of Askernish in South Uist in raising over £600 for the UK Sepsis Trust in memory of him; understands that he passed away suddenly in April 2019 due to septicaemia; notes that his family has raised the money through online fundraising; understands that Tom was a popular figure within his local community, in part through his role as headmaster of Daliburgh Primary School in South Uist between 1981 and 2009, as well as through his local voluntary work in the community, and congratulates the Rankin family on their efforts to raise money and remember a loved one in such a meaningful way.
