Brain Injuries Week
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Galashiels-based charity, Momentum, on holding a successful series of events during Brain Injuries Week to raise awareness and funds for the cause; recognises that it concluded the week with an interactive Spanish lesson, which it believes is very useful for brain development, and notes that the group enjoyed the lesson so much that they are going on to plan a 10-week course; understands that the charity held a cake stall at Borders General Hospital where it also sold homemade flower ornaments made by a local service user, and did an excellent job in raising over £200 for the local brain injury programme, and wishes the charity all the best for the future.
