Expansion of Clackmannanshire CAB's Outreach Service
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the work of Clackmannanshire Citizens Advice Bureau's (CAB) outreach service, which offers weekly drop-in sessions and, it understands, has netted around £445,000 for clients in its first year; acknowledges that it plans to open new development trusts in Tullibody and Alva on 5 and 6 June 2019 respectively, which will offer advice and support on managing money, debts and benefits and bring what it sees as the CAB’s vital work closer to more people's homes; acknowledges that the CAB works in partnership with a number of others, including Home-Start, Reachout, Play Alloa and the Hawkhill Centre, to provide direct access to experienced advisers, and wishes it all the best with this expansion.
