Double Awards for Fife College
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Fife College on its success at the fifth Herald Higher Education Awards, which were presented at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on 5 June 2019; acknowledges that it was shortlisted in six categories and won two, the Partnership Award, for its initiative, Team Sally, and the Outstanding Contribution from a College Student Award, which was presented to the president of its students' association, Carol Hunter, in recognition of her work with that body, including her roles as both the women's and care-experienced officer, and the boards of the college and the Adam Smith Foundation, and commends the college's students, staff, lecturers, tutors and its principal, Hugh Hall, on this success.
