Charlie and Ciaran McSherry's Charity Bike Ride
The motion
That the Parliament commends Charlie and Ciaran McSherry, who are a father and son from North Berwick, on cycling over 900 miles from Land’s Ends to John o’Groats to raise money in memory of their son and brother, Reon; understands that it took just over two weeks to complete and that Reon’s mother, Aileen, provided valuable support and logistical planning; notes that Charlie and Ciaran raised over £12,500 for the charities, CLIC Sargent and Good 2 Give, which support children undergoing cancer treatment and assist their families; thanks Charlie, Ciaran and Aileen for raising this generous sum, and wishes them all the best.
