Asda Foundation Support for West Scotland Good Causes
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the organisations in the West Scotland region that have each recently received £500 from the Asda Foundation’s Green Token Giving programme; notes that these were the White Lily Fund, which organises fundraising events to help people with cancer, Alzheimer Scotland, which supports people with dementia, Dumbarton United AFC U13 Girls and the not-for-profit organisation, Babes in the Woods, which aims to reduce the environmental impact of waste and to tackle poverty by selling children’s items that have been donated; recognises that each of these organisations was voted for by Asda customers in the area in recognition of the positive impact they have on the community, and wishes each continued success.
