Rainbow Garden Commemoration at Hazelhead Park
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the unveiling of the Rainbow Garden to commemorate the families affected by the Hazlehead Crematorium ashes scandal in 2013; understands that the space has been designed by a group of families and bereavement counsellors and sits in a secluded part of Hazlehead Park; further understands that it features a bronze sculpture by Maja Quille, which embodies a flowing design of flying birds enclosing a seat; recognises the trauma and loss felt by all involved, and hopes that the space embodies a sense of peace for visitors.
