Mearns Coastal Trail Development Group
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the work of the Mearns Coastal Trail Development Group in repairing and rejuvenating the first section of the Johnshaven to St Cyrus trail; understands that this included levelling and resurfacing the path, installing new drainage, the creation of a new pond and the planting of new trees and flowers; notes that the group was formed in May 2018 as an initiative between Visit Mearns and the community; understands that it aims to develop and promote the trail by linking existing stretches and points of interest and providing opportunities to develop new attractions and services, and wishes all involved with this work the very best in their endeavours.
