Clackmannanshire Couple, Eleanor and John Blady
The motion
That the Parliament commends Eleanor and John Blady for raising £2,145 to support Breathe Easy Clackmannanshire (BEC); understands that, in August 2019, the couple organised a sponsored walk from Alloa to Cambus, which then went back to Patons and Baldwins Bowling Club in Alloa for a raffle and a fun event; thanks the club for hosting the walkers and everyone who made donations to, and took part in, the raffle; notes that BEC, which is chaired by Linda McLeod BEM, has forwarded the money raised to British Lung Foundation; believes that this donation will help people in the county and farther afield, and applauds Eleanor and John on their sterling endeavours.
