Loanhead Restaurant Raises Funds for Cancer Charity
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Loanhead curry restaurant, Radhuni, on raising £550 for the cancer charity, Macmillan; acknowledges that Radhuni raised the funds by donating a pound for every sit-in and takeaway meal ordered during UK Curry Week, which took place between 7 and 13 October 2019; recognises that this effort was motivated by the diagnosis of the waitress, Carole O’Reilly; praises the restaurant for its community support and initiative to help others; wishes all involved the best, and thanks them for their generous donation.
