Sheila Swan, Sportscotland’s High Performance Coach of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Sheila Swan of the National Curling Academy in Stirling on her achievement of becoming sportscotland’s High Performance Coach of the Year, and notes that the accolade is awarded in recognition of sports coaching of a high standard, which it considers is evidenced by Sheila’s immense impact on wheelchair curling, including her own accomplishments in the sport, the positive impact that she has had on the lives of others through her coaching, and her acknowledgement of the beneficial social impact that the sport can have on wheelchair users.
